Sun Princess (2011) - Post 7

October 8th - Hong Kong

    Hong Kong harbour traffic


    Apartment buildings on Victoria Island.


     Coming alongside at the Ocean Terminal.

    All fast in Hong Kong, taken from a restaurant in the Marco Polo Hotel.

October 9th - Flight home from Hong Kong via Adelaide.

                             The new Cathay Pacific A330 I flew home on.

    My very comfortable nook on the plane.


                             A bit more cramped in the back.

   Departing Adelaide, next stop Melbourne.

October 3rd - Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

October 5th - Phu My, Vietnam

   Local shipping.




   Sailing downriver past some container ship wharves.

 October 6th - Nha Trang, Vietnam

    Tendering ashore.

                             A friendly shuttle bus driver.

                             This guy, a bit of a rogue, pedalled me around town for a few hours while I                            shopped and had lunch.

October 2nd - Muara, Brunei

    Passing a mountain top at sea.

    Tugs in Muara harbour.

     U.S. Pacific Fleet guided-missile destroyers USS Pinckney (DDG 91) and USS Dewey (DDG 105) in Muara     for a or a six-day port visit before participating in joint exercises.

     A subtle warning against trespassing.

                             The food looked delicious in the local cafes but I wasn't game to eat there.

September 27th - Darwin
